UEFULNESS OF PROLOTHERAPY IN ANKLE INSTABILITY

Ankle instability is caused by trauma involving the lateral ligaments of the ankle.

There is usually a stretching or, in severe cases, a partial or total tear of the ligament fibers.

When these injuries do not heal completely, a condition of instability can arise, with a subjective feeling of unstable ankle (sagging) and an objective laxity of the joint, which predisposes the patient to frequent new sprains even for minor trauma or simply small movements associated torsion and inversion of the joint.
